Deep waters
As a deep sea diver I had to first learn how to dive in the 4’, shallow part of the pool. As I became adapt to the shallow water I got to move down to the deep end. Oh what a joy it was. We were some one. We were beginning to be divers. We still couldn’t go out to the rivers or ocean yet but we were growing. We were learning.
• The kiddy pool or, the shallow end was for those who where not grown or adapt yet.
• Were we really divers? Yes, we were in word. Not very good divers but we had the term divers attached to us.
This is the same thing as Christianity. We all start as babes in Yashua. We are “born again”; we are “baby Christians”. We seek the milk of the word.
• 1 peter 2:2- like newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may grow in respect to salvation,
• Hebrews 5:13, 14- for everyone who partakes only of milk is not accustomed to the word of righteousness, for he is an infant. But solid food is for the mature, who, because of practice have their senses trained to discern good and evil.
Shallow believers are content in the shallow waters. Splashing around, having fun. But they are missing some of the best blessings of Yahweh. They are still saved but they lack depth.
There is more joy in the depth.
The depth is where you see Yaweh.
It is said that sailors see the glory of Yahweh in the deep. I know that this is true. I have seen it myself. When I was on the ships, some of the most beautiful sunsets and sunrises were captured by me. I used to sit and just stare at the beauty of it all; I knew that there was a creator because beauty of this kind just doesn’t happen by chance.
As a deep diver I have gone to depth of 200+ feet. I felt so cool as I graduated from the kiddy pool to the deep side of the pool. But it was nothing like the rush of excitement that I had when in the middle of the deep blue see I hit the deep waters. The vive-rent colors of life that not many of a man can see in its native environment were phenomenal.
The Release of the shallow is a necessity in growth.
How do we as children on Yahweh graduate from the kiddy pool to the deep?
• Verse 14 in chapter 5 of Hebrew told us that solid food is for the mature, who, because of practice have their senses trained to discern good and evil.

“It is by grace that we are saved through faith; not of yourselves, it is the gift of Yahweh ; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. Eph. 2:8, 9. --- we are not saved through works, however; works proves faith.”
If you are a mature child of Yahweh then you seek ways to serve according to your gifts that Yahweh has given to each one of us. A mature Christian has a fire, a zeal to do the work that Yahweh has enabled him to do.
New born babes want to serve also, but sometimes it is not best that they do. They are not solid yet in the Word and when tribulation comes they tend to fall away because they don’t have the depth yet. To be a babe in Yashua is to start a foundation, we must then build on the foundation because we are called to maturity.
Yahweh allows storms or events to deepen your faith. It is said on the open waters that the higher the waves the deeper the valley.
“WHY?”
Because faith that can’t be tested, can’t be trusted. You see, if He only lifted you up, then when problems come then you wouldn’t know how to handle them.
• Matthew 13:3-9
It is the deep diver who gets the work done in the oceans and it is the mature Christian who has depth from trying times, tribulations, who yields a crop.

YOU SEE, THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO WHEN THEY FIND OUT THAT IT TAKES WORK TO REACH THE GOAL THEY GIVE UP. THEY DON’T WANT THE DEPTH. YAHWEH DOES HIS BEST WORK IN THE DEPTH.
A freshly born again believer will talk about his faith, a mature Christian shows his faith. To show Yashua is better than just talking. Talk is cheap. Actions prove words. The kingdom of Yahweh doesn’t consist in words but in power. We are called into this power.
