Prophet End Times

Revelation Prophetic

Shalom!

Please know that this is not a discussion to verbally bash Tim LeHaye. I wanted to get that out first.
I am trying to learn as much as I can about the Word and how best to do it but to question and hear what my Family have to say. Is this not what Paul tells us to do? :)

Anyway I began to understand the End Times via Tim LeHaye's guides and books etc. However over the past year, with the abundance of revelation that the Holy Spirit has given me, LeHaye's theories just dont fit.

I was wondering what y'all have found in your search for Wisdom?

I am one who believes that there may not even be a Rapture as it is commonly understood.

Now please forgive me if the answers to my questions are already laid out clearly elsewhere in this forum. To be honest I havent read much at all.

I look forward to getting to know you all and to learning from you.
In Christ
Joan

You should have seen my Assistant Pastor's face when I told him that there is no such thing as Good Friday and that our Lord died on Thursday. hahaha. It was if I had grown a 2nd head. LOL

Are you meaning that we cannot trust the Word because it has been infiltrated by Man to the extent that it cannot be trusted?

In my quest for wisdom, among other things, i have recently realised that it is not enough to just simply yearn. you have to make action. You have to be willing to go the distance. And you have to be willing to sacrifice everything for the holiness and righteousness of Yahweh. When we look at all the prophets of old, or the great biblical leaders. They were all completely sold out to Yahweh! Their entire lives were completely devoted to their assignment in the advancement of Yahweh's kingdom and way.

And that is what we must do. If we give Yahweh any less that he has called us to give, or than we can give, then we have given nothing. Remember, Yah is the one who searches the reigns of our hearts. If we settle for what simply feels good or what is acceptable, then we have glazed out own eyes over with dilusion.

The process of seeking Yahweh is nothing like what they show on TV with the serene monks or priests. Heck its nothing like what the church tries to teach us. It's roughly akin to continuously vomiting. Because the human soul is so barraged by wickedness, and our hearts seek so eagerly to do wickedly. Solomon said that the fear of the Lord is to hate evil. And this my friend is where wisdom lies. You must look into the mirror of Messiah and see who you are and who are to be. And you must constantly seek not only to live by Yahweh's Mitzvot, but to have your heart expanded to understand the true and deep wisdom therein. Read Psalm 119 and see how David is toward torah.

Alot of people believe that the path of Yahweh should feel good (although rocky at times), but should be an overall good feeling. But this is a lie! The path of Yahweh is marked by tribulation, trials, persecution, and pain. Dont get me wrong, there is much peace, light Yoke, and love, and inclusiveness. But still at that...we still live in a secular world, and the true ways of Yahweh are very distant from humanity.

The path of Yahweh isnt something you can simply get in a book, other than Torah. And even at that there needs to be a level of Dedication, putting things into Action, and deep meditation of his holiness. To really walk in the way of Yahweh you must be holy, called out, ecklesia, set apart! Although we have our congregations, and fellowshihp to support us in this walk. Dont forget that there is still a wilderness, and in our lives Yahweh calls us to the wilderness to minister to us and for intimacy. Check out Yeshua's wilderness, Elijah's, Moshe's, and John's.

Its hard to exaplain but the path is very narrow, difficult, and painful. But at that, it is the truth, the light, and the only way to know (Ya'da) your creator on that deep intimate level that you so earnestly seem to be seeking.

Basically, if you want my best advice for anyone trying to learn truth and wisdom of Yahweh:

1.Forget everything you have ever learned.
2.Get into the scripture.
3.Pray as much as possible and be very weary of decieving spirits (important)
4.Have intimacy and worship.
5.Have councel with 2 or 3 people you trust, who will not enforce their particular theology on you, but have deep understanding of scripture (preferrably messianic)
6.Have councel with atleast 1 Rabbi (because Jews have alot the teach us about torah, and they can understand more about new testament than most X-tians)
7.Have Shabbat every friday (sundown) to saturday (sundown)
8.Not only participate in the biblical feasts, but pray for the wisdom that comes from them. Pray for the wisdom beyond what the church assumes to be right, cause the church believes that they are of no use (i.e. fulfilled and not nessecary). Which is wrong
9.Spend lots of time alone with Yahweh and really absorb his presence, holiness, and word! And put it into action. Make Tzitzits to wear, start eating kosher (start with not eating pork)* Really its good to just start something new every week. Every week try to become a little more
